CASTLE – NCIS CONNECTION PART DEUX

Continuing on with this theme, today I will feature male actors appearing in both shows.  They were recurring characters in Castle but may have just been a one-shot at NCIS

SCOTT PAULIN

Good old Jim Beckett not only fathered the best heroine in TV series history but also has the unique honor of being in both NCIS and NCIS-LA playing a corrupt Naval captain in the original then animating the character Larry Basser in the west coast office.

GEOFF PIERSON

The secretive Mr. Smith, arguably the second most threatening character to Caskett also served as Roy Carver on our Gibbs flavored show.

VICTOR WEBSTER

This one may be a bit cheating as Vic only appeared in NCIS-LA as Stanley King who Kensi had to investigate.  But no matter how many awful Scorpion King movies he makes, he will always be our treasured DMB

JONATHAN ADAMS

Oh Vulcan Simmons, perhaps my favorite bad guy on Castle.  He also qualified for the trifecta as he appeared in both NCIS as Thomas Zuri then later on the LA installment as Peter Caldwell

MUSE WATSON

This is also turning the tables somewhat as Muse appeared in just one Castle as the cartoonish, Yosemite Sam looking , Ivan Potanski, a classic gun expert.  However he did grace the NCIS screen almost two dozen times as Mike Franks.  We know him as a rebel, anti-establishment retiree from NCIS whose legacy is none other that LeRoy Jethro Gibbs.

Well that is today’s installment.  Will work on the women who intersected these two great shows.  I coulda sworn that it is possible that Castle and Gibbs shared an actress as a wife.

Thanks so much John. I have followed both shows and it was fun remembering the duplicate performances.
