FIVE 4 FRIDAY: LEAST FAV’s of SEASON SIX

FRIDAY FEUD EDITION!

PJB VERSUS SSS

Got a twist in the plot for today. Instead of forcing just my opinion on you great readers, I am also providing the opinion of renowned Castlemaniac PJB! So, I will put my list in, and so will Peg! You kind folks can decide whose list you like better!

SmallScreenSmackdown Version :

NUMBER 5

THE GREATER GOOD – Castle and Beckett investigate the murder of a Wall Street trader, but the case takes a shocking turn when the they discover the victim was an undercover informant for the U.S. Attorney’s office. To complicate matters further, the U.S. attorney involved is Elizabeth Weston (guest star Salli Richardson-Whitfield, “Eureka”), Captain Gates’ estranged sister. It just didn’t really work as a showpiece for Gates. Ten minutes in I didn’t care if the plot and subplot.

NUMBER 4

DRESSED TO KILL – When an employee at a fashion magazine is found dead, Castle and Beckett must dive into the world of high fashion to investigate; Beckett’s history in the modeling world earns her access to a wedding surprise. Interesting concept. Had to ask if Kate’s modeling career was more than one summer and more than sportswear. In the end, I was left wanting a better story.

NUMBER 3

FOR BETTER OR WORSE – Castle and Beckett’s long-awaited wedding is almost here, but when a shocking surprise threatens to ruin the big day, they are sent on a wild mission filled with masked men, angry bikers and a charming ne’er-do-well from Beckett’s past . It was a fun, if totally unrealistic, story ruined by a bait and switch where we never get the wedding. It could have been great, yet we are left with no idea.

NUMBER 2

A MURDER IS FOREVER – When a famed relationship therapist is murdered, it appears that her access to the secrets of her elite and powerful clients led to her death. But when Castle and Beckett discover the victim was in possession of a rare object worth millions of dollars, they realize that this case may be even more complicated – and dangerous – than they thought. This fell into the category of “been there, done that” it seemed to be a thrown together script from previous shows, like the Third Man and and Significant Others

NUMBER 1

LAW AND BOARDER – When an up-and-coming professional skateboarder is gunned down by a mysterious motorcyclist, Castle and Beckett are thrust into the world of extreme sports, where the death-defying stunts aren’t the only thing that’s dangerous. This suffers from being the show before the best show of the year. Good concept that lacked a good script. They should have taken a mulligan on this one and done it better.
