FIVE 5 FRIDAY: MY LEAST FAVORITE APRIL EPISODES

Today let’s look at the opposite side of the spectrum known as April Castle Episodes. This time, I will provide my opinion on my least favorite shows aired between April 1 and April 30. Will they match yours or do we have differing opinions? Check mine out and see!

NUMBER 5
THE LAST SHAFT

So, Castle opens his loft to the newly homeless Beckett, runs into a burning building trying to help her, asks her to be the guardian of Alexis if something happened to him just to fall into bed with a bimbo looking for a role. Well, he did that for Meredith 😝. I know he bragged about his ‘adventures ‘ in just about every episode so far but this one had me shaking my head.

NUMBER 4
LAW AND BOARDER

This one just did not click for me. First, giddy girly Beckett does not seem right. Hasn’t Castle evolved beyond naked girl pens? And who really cares that much about a recipe? On the plus side, I liked that Beckett beat Castle at Scrabble. And the murder seemed to be an afterthought and frankly, I did not get very invested in it. Honestly, the best thing I can say about Law & Boarder is that it ended with a preview of next week’s episode in which we see the return of the nefarious Senator Bracken and the “who killed Beckett’s mother” storyline in tonight’s episode.

NUMBER 3
THE FAST AND THE FURRIEST

A very silly episode airing right after the terrific LIVES OF OTHERS. Sure we got to see silly Castle and his Bigfoot fetish but, really, not that much to really like here. Not much to really hate but , just left me feeling “eh, oh ok”

NUMBER 2
THE SQUAB AND THE QUAIL

So the episode right after STILL ( in my DVD SET) where Castle stays with Kate thru the bomb, she has questions about his commitment/intention? And he, rather be gaming than ensuring his betrothed is being taken care of? Then have her consider cheating? Naw, doesn’t work for me. Really wasn’t just two episodes earlier Kate threw the best surprise party ever?

NUMBER 1
SLEEPER

I am not sure what this episode was trying to do. Of course it was trying to build on the ridiculous plot line of Castle getting abducted on his wedding day. To me, it was a true indication that the show was spiraling downward from its once greatness.
