MONDAY MUSINGS: HIDDEN GEMS OF SEASON 2
This week my rumination deals with interesting aspects of season 2. One of my favorite things about CASTLE is the hidden gems that link each episode together. With that in mind here are some interesting tidbits that I enjoyed.
We all know that our fearsome foursome work out of the fictional 12th precinct. Most episodes used this pic as the exterior of the station house
Then, I looked like the station house got a serious facelift because the first time we see the 12th actually identified, it looks a whole lot nicer than previously.
Of course there was one whoops, I wonder if it was intentional to see who would notice. (Episode 10 from Season 2)
When Kate had to break the news of Crow’s death to the Freeman family, daughter Rosie has a tee shirt of the victim of the next episode. Just love that!
BLUE PILL CONCERT
It is rare in the show’s run that an actual establishment is mentioned. Here they said that Hayley Blue last concert was at the BITTER END, the perfect setting to explain her solo career relaunch. The Bitter End sat 230 people and along with CBGB and Fillmore East were the roots of great music. I popped for its mention.
GREAT MONTGOMERY MOMENT
KILL THE MESSENGER was a truly underrated episode featuring some excellent scenes, like this one featuring Beckett, Castle and the Captain.
MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELOR
I had to chuckle at the other most eligible on the list.
