MONDAY MUSINGS: SEASON 7 and OTHER THINGS

Let’s kick off the week in style by kicking it SEASON 7 style (with one exception). Here are a couple of thoughts I had as i watched this season again. Like:

LAST ACTION HERO

Two come to mind on this one. First, was it me but Castle was a real jerk here as they packed up Beckett’s apartment.

and one of the most poignant moments of the entire series, one that made me melancholy as Kate leaves her past to pursue her future.

THE TIME OF OUR LIVES

I really liked that they gave a wink to season 1 in their alternate universe sequence. back in Season 1, LITTLE LOST GIRL, we found out a deep dark secret.

It really enhanced this trip down memory lane.

Staying with this episode who else, when they saw this scene of alternate world Alexis …

Think of season three LAST CALL? All that was missing is a tattoo and facial piercings…

KILL SWITCH

You know how much I love continuity so i really popped for this:

The subway car has a poster for King Lear, featuring “Alfred Heath”. It can be see over the left shoulder of Grant Gerber, the salesman. “Sir Alfred Heath” was the cover identity used by Detective Inspector Colin Hunt in The Limey, until the real Sir Alfred Heath arrived.

And this is the imposter 😝
