MONDAY MUSINGS: SEASON 7 SNIPPETS

Just finished watching Season 7 once again and will share some observations on some of the quirks and twists that piqued my interest. So without further ado, here are some highlights of my viewing pleasures:

THE TIME OF OUR LIVES

So Castle and Beckett run off to the Hamptons where, miraculously, the wedding setup was still standing. But, to me, what intrigued me was the celebration following the quasi-elopement. It seems the toast was done with the bubbly. Was it sparkling cider or Non alcoholic? For Jim?

BAD SANTA

I would have loved to have seen the doctor who was killed be a colleague of Dr. Motorcycle Boy! Yes, Josh Davidson should have had to be part of that investigation. It might have been slot of fun!

PRIVATE EYE CARAMBA!

In season 2, we get two guest shots of detective Roz Karpowski assisting Beckett and the boys.  She left the show for a staring role in Telenovela as Mimi Moncada.  Funny, the show being investigated was also named TELENOVELA.  So, I propose that we should have seen Diane Maria Riva in that episode as Karpowski undercover as Mimi Moncada.  How cool would that have been?

MONDAY MUSINGS: AN EIGHT PACK OF THOUGHTS

ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST

Perhaps my favorite episode of season 7, the most Castle-esque for sure! So many great scenes and wordplay but fir me, the duel at the end was my favorite! Especially all thumbs Castle! I have to ask what happened? Back in season 2, VAMPIRE WEEKEND, CASTLE wearing his Malcolm Reynolds costume, displayed dizzying ability to twirl a gun. For example:

But with the pressure on, in the heat of a dual, look what happened…

HONG KONG HUSTLE

How reminiscent was it that Inspector Zhanga went to the shooting range to relieve stress and for competition with Beckett.

Much like season 1 during HOME IS WHERE THE HEART STOPS! When Beckett decided firing off a few rounds would relieve her stress.

Funny, Beckett lost both!
